6mm bi-metal blades are generally used on very small bandsaws and for lighter cutting work where tight radii or narrow cuts are required.

Common lengths tend to fall into:

• portable and compact saw ranges (sub-2000mm)
• smaller bench-mounted machines

Tooth pitches are usually finer, such as:
10/14,  TPI
