Exporting Meat blades to the Pacific Islands

Meat Blades for export to pacific:

Exporting meat bandsaw blades to the Pacific is what we do. It’s part of our daily work.

We build these blades in our Auckland workshop in Ōtāhuhu. Where we weld them, grind them, and ship them. We send small and large orders, week in and week out, to customers across the Pacific Islands. These are premium, long-life meat blades. They land sharp, strong, and ready to cut.

Butchers, resellers, and business groups trust us. They know our blades perform. They know they last. And they know we deliver when we say we will.

Many smaller family businesses plan ahead too. They stock up when they fly through Auckland. They often carry the blades home in luggage to save on freight. This has become a smart, cost-saving habit across the islands. We’ve supported this for more than 10 years. And we’re proud to keep doing it.

One order stands out. 1,400 meat blades, repeated annually, and growing. It’s one of the biggest meat blade runs we produce for the region. Every year, it gets larger. And every year, we build it better. This batch is for the largest business group in the Pacific. When you’re cutting at that scale, blade reliability isn’t optional. It’s essential.

Large orders also create big freight bills. That’s where kidney folding steps in.

📦 Kidney Folding (Specialist Packing Method)

Kidney folding isn’t a theory. It’s a hands-on process. Two people do the work. It takes time. And it works.

We nest blades inside each other in bundles, usually 10 at a time. Then we compress them into a curved shape. Finally, we fold them into a tight ‘kidney’ loop. This reduces box volume fast. The savings add up quickly too. Lower volume means lower freight costs. It also means smarter container space. For island nations, this matters. Space costs money. And efficiency keeps margins alive.

Yes, it’s labour-intensive. But the result is worth it. It reduces shipping size. It protects the blades. And it delivers major cost savings for remote regions.
